One good strategy for picking up langauge is to put phrases on post its on either side of your door, so you have to look at them several times a day. And just add new post its.

Label everyday object in your house or room. Just by having the word for “door” written on your door, it will help you learn to recognize the word though repetition.

• Everyday Use

When learning a new language it is important to apply it to everyday life. Use the new words and phrases as often as you can, even with people who do not speak the language (it may encourage them to do the same!)

• Technology

Many languages have resources online such as Youtube and Online Forums
